The V&A Waterfront, Africa’s most visited tourist destination, recently launched the first temporary outdoor ice rink in the country. As one of Atmosphere’s long standing clients, we assisted with the media launch to announce this unique offering.

An exclusive cocktail party, hosted inside a marquee tent featuring the 200m² ice rink marked the beginning of a very successful festive season at the V&A Waterfront. Guests were entertained by talented members of the Western Province figure skating team, capturing the imagination of young and old.  

Atmosphere managed to secure a great media turnout with a number of the local dailies and radio stations attending. The ice rink enjoyed great success and entertained visitors till 16 January 2011.
