Who we are
Atmosphere specialises in integrated brand and corporate communications for some of South Africa's leading brands and companies. Our work creates credible conversations locally (and at times internationally) and delivers tangible business results for our clients. And it's not just us who think this; in 2009, 2010 and 2011 we were the most awarded consultancy at the PRISMs (South Africa's leading PR industry awards).
We've also been recognised for our results-driven approach and strong focus on innovation by Finweek's ADReview, when we walked off with the PR Consultancy of the Year in May 2011.
Other recent accolades include a bronze Loerie (local Advertising Awards) in September 2011. To top it all, we decided to enter our work on an international front for the first time, and we were short listed for a Cannes PR Lion and we secured a silver Clio with King James Advertising in 2011.
The Team
Founded in 2001 by MD Nicola Nel, the team today comprises 30 passionate individuals who work in either the Johannesburg or Cape Town HQ.
Atmosphere is home to a team of creative, dynamic and highly skilled consultants. From diverse professional backgrounds, while each brings unique strengths and outlooks to the table, we share a common goal for achieving exceptional, measurable results for our clients. We place great emphasis on internal mentoring and training and cherish our (mostly) relaxed, enabling working environment.
