Atmosphere Communications outperforms at the 2013 PRISM awards

On Sunday, 7 April 2013, Atmosphere Communications walked off with six awards, including two golds at the PRISM Awards which made the consultancy the most awarded for the evening. Atmosphere secured awards in categories as diverse as the technology sector, sponsorship amplification and the financial services sector, beating some of the country’s best agencies and communication professionals who were competing for a top spot at the Public Relations Institute’s annual awards evening.

Atmosphere took the skies when they recently launched kulula.com’s ridiculously posh new Boeing. The first flight was a surprise to the unsuspecting passengers departing from Lanseria for their early morning flight to Cape Town.

Atmosphere supports Radio Tygerberg’s ‘Winter-Warm’ drive on Madiba Day

In the spirit of Madiba Day celebrations on 18 July, our local media friends at Radio Tygerberg launched a city-wide blanket donation drive for the homeless and needy in Cape Town. Part of their annual “Winter-Warm” project, the station’s management team braved the cold, rainy weather for one night to experience the harsh realities of living on the streets.

Atmosphere partners with help2read to spread the joy of reading

Literacy and the joy of reading is close to our hearts and for these reasons, Atmosphere has recently taken on help2read, a Non Government Organisation (NGO) as a pro-bono client. We donate ten hours a month to help2read to promote its literacy programme in Gauteng. Our services include media relations and PR skills transfer to their staff. Through strategic media relations we hope to attract funding and volunteers so that help2read can grow its donor base and expand its Gauteng network of schools.

Fairview scoops top accolades at the 2012 Annual Dairy Championships

The Fairview Vineyard Cheesery, in Paarl, scooped a host of cheese awards at the 2012 South African National Dairy Championships. Fairview’s accolades include a Qualité Award, five first places, eight second places and three third places, marking a remarkable success for the company.
