We took home a total of 14 Prisms last week including 6 Gold (the most gold's awarded to any entrant), 6 Silver, 1 Bronze and the coveted overall Gold. An achievement we're really proud of and that involved all parts of our business (the awards were for clients ranging Sanlam to Steri Stumpie!). The Prisms are important to us because they measure not only creativity and media results but also look for measurable business results (and that's a core part of our ... Read More

To launch the international Make It 2 Bushmills campaign in South Africa we invited some of the top whiskey drinking bloggers in SA to a barrel-rolling competition (and a selection of media to record them pushing barrels up De Waal Park). The slightly oddball (but yet still highly challenging) sport is more popular than football in Bushmill's home town in Northern Ireland. To find out more about the campaign visit the Bushmills SA Facebook Page. Read More

Another cheeky piece of PR for kulula that made global headlines! This time the airline offered to pay lobola for Kate Middleton on behalf of Prince William. As well as telling the media what the airline was up to we created a Facebook tool that allowed South African's to give us their opinion on how many cow's we should be sending over. The activity has achieved over R2 million of coverage and as well as hitting most news media in South Africa ... Read More

plus-one-logo_1

We recently submitted some trends for Advantage magazine's 2011 trends issue. There were some slightly odd copy edits (highlighted below) in the magazine so this is what we actually said: Consumer experience: The rise of social media, in particular Twitter, is turning consumer experience into one of the biggest marketing tools. When consumer’s really hate or really like an experience they share it. When they come across something innovative or different during their experience they take a picture of it and tell someone. Atmosphere’s kulula work featured in Contagious Magazine

sepp-cont

For us Contagious is pretty much the bible when it comes to fresh thinking and what's cool in global marketing so we're pretty chuffed to make it on to the cover of their 2010 trends round-up. Sepp the Dog, the star of our integrated campaign (with King James) for kulula smiles happily from the cover and there is a review of the work a few pages in. As well as being a nice piece of self-publicity it's also a really interesting read ... Read More

Our last campaign launch for the year and something we've been working on for at least 6 months to develop is Live Free. It's an ongoing project to encourage South African's to enjoy the simple and free things in life. It's first incarnation was a Sandcastle Construction Crew - designed to celebrate the (pretty much) free delights of hanging out on our country's lovely beaches.
