Our social media team +one recently launched the new coffee flavour for Steri Stumpie with an oddball keynote speech (that may have had a certain resemblance to the style of a global technology company). The excitement and nerves were evident among SA’s top entrepreneurs as they waited to find out who would be crowned as the Sanlam/ Business Partners Entrepreneur of the Year for 2010, at the winning ceremony in Sandton last Thursday night. It's possible you may have seen two outlandish Mayans wandering around South Africa armed with a ghetto blaster. They were created by Atmosphere to draw attention to a party client J&B is throwing Mexico later this month. The idea is that consumers see them out and about in nightclubs/bars and events and make the connection with the ATL ads for the event. We recently helped our client, Chevron South Africa, launch a newly refurbished and fully stocked library and learning centre at the Inkwenkwezi Secondary School in Du Noon. The library was officially opened by the Minister of Basic Education, Mrs. Angie Motshekga, MP on 26 October 2010. The library upgrade, as well as the appointment of a full time librarian and an assistant to manage the facility, was funded by Chevron South Africa as part of its Energy for Learning programme. We've recently started working with two well known whisky brands (with very different audiences) from brandhouse. Bell's and J&B join Bushmills Irish Whiskey to ensure our bar is very well-stocked indeed. Just for some variety we're also starting work on Roodeberg this month a great blend with tons of stories behind it from KWV.
